While I don't have it handy, it seems that the current research on
enzymes shows that they break down about 40% of the offending
proteins.....may be enough to for some babies to have a reduction in
symptoms, but since this baby is already showing gut damage, I'd be
hesitant to go that route.

And Lynn had a good point about the baby not doing well on the formula.
If it does happen, the mom would be as Lynn said, in a Very Bad Place.
