Dear Wise ones,

I know a lady who had a prem baby at 36 weeks. It was a difficult
pregnancy, and Mum threatened to miscarry several times.

Baby was eventually born via C-Section by a Ob/Gyn who tried his utmost to
accomodate Mums wishes.

Baby latched well very soon after birth, and seemed to be feeding like a
champ.

However, in the five weeks since birth she has failed to gain, or made very
small gains. Mum is determined to breastfeed, and says she has lots of
milk.

Baby born at 36 weeks - weighed 2.7kg (7th August)
Day 3 - 2.4kg
Day 5 - 2.3kg
Day 14 - 2.4kg
Was advised to use MCT Oil
Day 21 - 2.45kg
Day 28 - 2.53kg
Stared using a little formula at night
Day 33 - 2.6kg (8th September)

Baby is reported to be very active. However, loose skin and legs very
skinny.

Advice would be very much appreciated.
