   i believe that the gastroenterology research does NOT substanciate the
rice cereal theory.... i did not save or not the references when I was going
through this proabably because i was VERY VERY lucky and worked with a SUPERB
pediatric gastroenterologist. I read the reports in the childrens library...

   the theory is that if you put something heavy in it will not come back
up.....

    there are many meds that can be used from reglan through plain old
mylanta.. the issue is to coat and smooth.... the reflux is usually out grown
within either x, y,. or z months... sorry i don't remember those numbers...
they are a set of when MOST children with reflux outgrow....
