Yaffa,
Thanks for the article re:cabbage test in Israel.  Too bad they tested cabbage
vs warm compresses, which can actually exacerbate engorgement.  Interesting
that it halted lactation in 6-24h, think this finding needs to be publicized
to avoid the overzealous use for engorgement.  A colleague here in NY
advocates 2 hours, twice a day for 2 days, with continuous changes as the
leaves warm.  This is what I have been advising mothers, think I'll reduce the
recommendation to 1 hour a day.
What does everyone else think?
