I am on prednisone periodically for my asthma problems, and I almost
inevitably get a yeast infection when I'm on it. I also get yeast infections
in my mouth from my steroid inhalers if I don't use mouthwash every single
time. So it seems likely that this is the cause of the mother's and baby's
yeast problem.
