Hi Carol,

<<2. Questions number two is:
At your hospital do the pediatricians do baby exams in the patient's =
room or in the nursery?=20
If you do do them in the patient's room, what is the process(does =
someone go with the physician, what equipment do they take, how do they =
do charting?).>>

If the baby is in moms room, most of the docs do the exam there; if the baby
is in the nursery, then there. We have all the equipment the doc needs in
the patient rooms, so he doesn't have to take anything in but his/her
stethoscope and chart. Docs do their own charting.

What is your annual birth rate.>>

3600

Do you have private physicians or hospitalists(physicians hired by the =
hospital)>>

Private physicians.

And our hospital rents pumps (praise the Lord!!) and no problem as far as I
know.
