Under what circumstances would clipping the freunulum result in tongue
thrust in the future? Is there anything that can be done after the clipping to
help prevent this possibility? The tongue was clipped, but it was done with a
warning that by doing so tongue thrust was a possible problem to watch for.

Thanks for any information -- even ancedotal you can share. This makes my
#3 tongue tie, so I should be done with this theme for a while...I am also on
#2 tongue sucking when not stuck to the palate babies, so will be on the look
out for #3--my themes always come in 3s.
Maybe I can get an easy theme soon?

Thanks,
Pam MazzellaDiBosco, IBCLC
