Dear Debbie and all others,
I have to echo the fact that my also nine year old daughter has an affinity
for not only bottles (for doll play) but also for pacifiers.  I don't know if
she does it to drive me crazy or if she really thinks babies need these
things.  My fear is actually that she does it for the later reason although I
hope she does it for the former:D!  She even tells me sometimes that she
wishes she had a bottle at present time and threatens to buy one with her own
money because "she likes to "suck" on things." Don't laugh this could be you!
 I just keep substituting sucking candy and pray she doesn't turn to thumb
sucking as her mom did.  It isn't as though her sucking needs weren't met she
nursed past 4 years.  Maybe we are just a very oral family!
