This story seem similiar to another posting regarding ? low fat content in
mom's milk.

Mom with second baby. Delivered on 5/1 birth wt. 8-11. Stated breastfeeding
went well in hospital, day 4 had home visit - reported observed good feeding,
many wet diapers and acouple of stools.
On 5/6 wt was 7-7.25 same as home visit - mom had good milk supply -4
stools/day. On 5/8 wt was 7-5.5 now using the same scale as 5/6, reviewed
feedings felt they were alittle too short so encouraged to stay on first side
till satisfaction and add alternate massage.
On 5/10 wt was 7-6, continued same plan.
On 5/12 wt was 7-7, wt gains not great but felt going in the right direction.
On 5/16 wt was 7-7, plan now for mom to get electic br.pump, pump between
feedings, let the milk seperate, skim off the fat and suplement with this.

Does anyone have any other sugestions or comments. Also on days 5 and 7 baby
having frequent stools, yellow but pasty and a foul smell. By day 9
continued freq. stools but seedy yellow with no noticiable oder.
Thanks for any help.
