It is great to be  back!. I have been off the list for about one year. 
For those of you who are new, welcome!!!!
My name is Ellen (Phaff) Shein, originally from Albany, New York and living in Israel
for the past 35 years. Active in LLLI and and IBCLC since 87.
Last year was elected to the BOD of LLLI so that being the main reason being NOMAIL!!!
NO TIME = NO MAIL!!!! But here I am again, enjoying every posting.

Now, I have a question.

New mom-baby 5 weeks. first 3 wks painfree bfg. past two wks excruciating pain. we worked on the obvious - positioning, latch seemed fine, pain was improved with proper posture and positioning.
today, less than a week later, the pain has gotten worse! mostly after bfg.in both breasts - not nipple area. recommended seeing her MD, and suggested taking pain killers for a few days to see if it subsides.

any ideas?
