I read an interesting newspaper story earlier this summer about a similar
situation in which a baby was not to be fed his mother's milk because the
fat content was too high.
A nurse in the hospital where this ill baby was being treated was able to
have the lab in the hospital "spin down" the human milk to a skim milk like
product. This milk was much better
tolerated by the baby, the mother was pleased. Right now I cannot find
the article, but Norma Ritter (she is on line) might be able to help. As
I recall the story was written in an Alabama or Louisana paper. Good
luck. Anne Andrianos
