I have seen so many cases of skin rashes (unexplained) in women
post-partum. I'm becoming convinced it is due to our 'ol friend
Mr. Stress. Sometimes the rash will "mysteriously" disappear as I
am talking to the woman in my clinic. If there is no medical reason
for the rash, I'd recommend aloe vera or Rescue Creme to sooth and some
deep breathing exercises. (You should have seem the whopper of the rash
my sister-n-law got on her wedding day.)

Best regards and congrats to all the new IBCLCs.

Susan Nachman-Srebrnik, IBCLC

BTW, I would really be interested in hearing an opinion on the fava bean
thing. It was my patient who (for some STUPID reason ate falafel and
beans) knowing her son has this condition. She pumped and dumped for 24
hours. Mira and I really broke our heads on this one.
