Wow am I glad I live in Virginia.  When my name was selected for jury duty, I
was sent a form asking about my parenting responsibilities.  I explained that
I was responsible for getting school aged children on the bus and being there
for them after school.  I was dismissed from duty.  I agree it is not just
breastfeeding, but parenting.  What is the child is a weaned toddler?  Hats
off to my home state which believes parents are important even for school
aged children.
