Having had a dislocated elbow joint, I can tell you first hand that
the pain this baby must have experienced was excruciating, both before
and after it was cast. As for casting without meds... words fail me.
WHY did they not give the baby pain meds?

I really feel it was because it was a difficult position for her and
mom. She would latch and go to sleep not suckle for more than a few
moments. <

I am not surprised!
Is the baby getting any pain meds now?
My heart aches for her.
