Melissa,
Most of those who will not allow us access state HIPPA as the reason. I  
suspect the real reason is that 1) They do not understand the program or how it  
could be beneficial to them and 2) They do not believe that breastfeeding is  
important. As you can probably deduce by our deplorable breastfeeding rates, we 
 have many doctors and hospitals in our state who believe (or act as if they 
do)  that formula feeding is BEST.
Thank goodness we do have a growing number of more responsible healthcare  
professionals.

Laura, why won't some hospitals let you in? It seems highly unethical  to
allow ABM reps in and refuse to allow WIC reps  in.
