Hey, wait a minute, :), I think newborns should stool at least once a day
too.  Although I believe in the early days it is colon function, and either
immature nerves or nerves that are damaged and need to heal.  I too think
diet is important but in the early days (first 14) I try not too stress the
mom out on her diet as she seems to have her hands pretty full and on info
overload already.
Denise Fisher had some great input on this too!
