Dostinex is commonly used in mothers who have problems with hyperprolactinemia which can cause problems with concieving due to ovulation suppression from the high prolactin levels - that's where cabergoline comes handy. Normally the drug is stopped in the early months after achieveing a healthy pregnancy.
It should not cause problems with lactation if not taken now. My guess would be a problem with the baby (ineffective sucking for some reason) in this situation.
