I have not dealt with this, but there do not need to be signs of yeast, ie
flaking, etc, for it to be present. However, yeast is often overdiagnosed,
and this does not seem like the typical presentation. If she has a cyst
that is larger, I would think that sending her back to her MD for a needle
aspiration might be warranted, especially in light of her history of
cervical cancer. Just to be safe. Kathleen
