It certainly is "all milk"! 

Knowing that my job requires making new mothers feel confident, I hate to contradict them. If they ask me during the early postpartum days "when will my milk come in?", here  is how I answer. "You have the early milk in your breasts right now. It's called colostrum. The colostrum will start changing to mature milk in a couple of days. When it does that, the milk will be more watery and larger in volume and your breasts will feel fuller and heavier. Colostrum milk is exactly what your baby needs now. It is high in protein and easy to digest and just the right amount."

I always love hearing the words other LCs use to teach.
