much more common in my neck of the woods.

Jan, in my area, we may have more women who are overloaded with IVs during
labor and are edematous for weeks postnatally.  Our induction/augmentation
rate is high; our epidural rate is over 95%.  That could partially explain
the high oversupply issue for the women who deliver in
Westchester/Putnam/Rockland County.
