Elaine,
I am wondering why you say this about "whether you believe in it". This is
true of all things, including allopathic drugs. Homeopathic remedies work on
infants, children and pets, who might perhaps be influenced by the beliefs of
their parents or owners, but again the same is true for all things. I do
think that homeopathy is seriousely under-utilized in lactation problems (esp
mastitis and thrush), and that an awareness of these medicines would be
useful to any LC. (I personally have had a half dozen breast infections over
my 12 years of nursing and never treated with anything except homeopathy and
never had an infection last very long.)
