Hi Linda and co.
This Mum in by original post, now has mastitis in the other breast to.  Get
the picture here, she had mastitis develop on the right 4 days ago and was
put on Ibilex and now has it in the left breast.  Blisters still cover the
right nipple on expressing and they are now starting to flake/peel off a
bit.  Mum is basically not keen on Breastfeeding anymore now.  I think the
idea of even expressing and bottle feeding is going out the window.
I would still like some info as to why you think she may develop blisters on
the surface of the nipple when expressing?  By the way, I did suggest to her
to try the epsom salts soaks.
