We are working on the report to the Dean of the Med School requesting a
Lactation Center at the Med school. I appreciate everyone who responding to
my request for information on existing Centers. Now I have another question
from the Med student who is working on this project: How can we found out
which hospitals in NC have IBCLCs on staff ? We are trying to get some
stats to compare our hospital and health center with other similiar
facilities. Her computer is down and my printer is down so we are hobbling
along on this report! My hubby is assisting with his computer so this is
really a collaborative effort.

On a personal level,I am happy to annouce that I am now working at the
WakeMed Lactation Center and Human Milk Bank on a parttime basis. I am
excited about getting the experience in a clinical setting but the hard thing
is that this a 83 miles commute one way. I would appreciate any words of
wisdom concerning working in a hospital setting. This center is directed by
Mary Rose Tully . I am also still operating my private practice.
