Pam - if your mom needs to rent a pump and the insurance won't cover it - go
to one of your local rental stations.

Both Ameda/Egnell and Medela have a generous policy about renting "grant"
pumps for mothers in need.

Essentially the rental station can provide the pump for free.
(The mom may have to purchase the attachments - but as a rental station
myself - I've had extras that I have been able to give away for free)

I believe that if a rental station has more than 5 pumps - they can qualify
for the grant program.
