Hi Heather is Maria from Cyprus,I am also a b/f counselor but also nurse and midwife..
This mums problem...has nothing to do wt breasts,is natural to get like that under the arm..but is very painful!!!
It is breast-tissue but is NOT connected wt the rest...
Tell her to apply topical there cold cabbage leaves or cold compresses and to take some tablets for the pain...
Dont massage or stimulate the balls soon they resolve alone in 3-4 days avoid the hot baths is worse.
She can carry on wt b/f
