Jessica has asked about Evenflo's retreat from meeting its obligations under the Code. Yes, unfortunately their new management has decided to market their bottles and artificial nipples outside the parameters of the Code. Their decision to breech the Code was made months ago so that they could start a new marketing campaign to increase bottle sales. The recent media firestorm on Facebook and Twitter regarding their terrible videos has had an effect. The offending videos have been taken down. So much work went into helping Evenflo meet its obligations under the Code. However, it seems like the bottom line trumps the health of mothers and babies.
