Pat, you're right - I had been given the wrong name and spelling. I spoke
again with the mother and she verified the name as "iopimide." I did
discover a listed study under Pub Med and, while not being
scientifically/medically inclined, was able to make out a word that had
pancreas embedded within, so I imagine that was the one. But there was no
reference to its presence in human milk. The mom had unhappily given a
bottle of "that cr*p, Si...ac," to her daughter, but had also checked in
with the pediatrician, who she said if push came to shove to give her the
breast. I'm not sure that's quite satisfactory. I passed on Dr. Mona
Gabbay's number (she happens to be minutes away from where this mom lives)
as well as another IBCLC's number in hopes of her finding more conclusive
and satisfactory recommendations.

Thanks again for any input.
