If peds think there is need to have added vitamin D for breastfed infants, 
why not just give it in the vitamin drops (like Poly Vi Sol)? That's what 
my ped did way back when (with my first who is now 27) and then when #2 
came along 16 years ago, there was no mention of using vitamins (or 
formula) at all. Personally, I would have refused the formula thing.
