Because I know (from Kathleen Bruce's Lactnet homepage) that there are
31 subscribers from Israel I am posting a question that I hope someone
in Israel can answer!!
I recently received an email from a woman in Israel who is researching
prepared childbirth programs before deciding which one to take. She says
that the "newest thing" in childbirth classes in Israel is a method
called "Paula". I wrote back and asked her if maybe she meant "doula" or
even "ALACE" but she insists that it is called Paula.
She says she thinks that it is a method for relaxing your body in
general and for pregnancy it specifically works on the vaginal
muscles(kegels???).
If anyone has any more information on this method I would love to hear
about it!
