Dear Gonneke, I think we have all had a pet theory that we have passed on,
only to  find later that it is all wrong.  We do the best we can with what
we know/ believe.  What separates so  many in this profession from many
others is that we are willing to listen and learn and change what we
know/believe based on good research or multiple clinical observations.  BTW
clinical observation is the root of where research starts.  So keep an open
mind (it's a talent) and be glad that so many great minds are involved in
