Rachel, I like your way of setting the mobile phone alarm, I had not thought
to suggest that, such a concrete suggestion I think will help very much.
Your way sounds so much like mine. And I must say that is reassuring to me.
I use a very similar 15 percent 'rule' but in the pounds and ounces way;
however, I checked the math, the 24 hour numbers come out very similar in
milliliters.
p.s. speaking in an earlier post of sleepy babies, and babies and mothers in
a fog, I also blame inductions of which 38+4 weeks seems to be a popular
time to do one. And what do you think of a mother who is not experiencing
symptoms of labor, but says she was checked in the office and found to be 4
cm dilated, and so was sent over to hospital to be delivered (break the
waters and give pitocin). ??? This is a fairly common description when I
asked what was the reason for your induction?
