Word of this commercial spread around a few months ago when it first began
to air. People jumped on both sides of the bandwagon.

What the commercial actually says is that 62% of women agree their hair and
breasts were flatter after becoming a mother, not after breastfeeding.
However, it shows the mother nursing her child looking dissheveled, but also
nursing her child again after Suave has "fixed" her flat hair.

Many saw this as a beautiful example of a nursing mom in a commercial and
pointed out that the commercial made it appear is if all moms breastfed
and/or that breastfeeding was a natural part of being a mom.

Others felt that because the mom was shown nursing, it was implied that the
nursing was what caused the flat breasts.

I've seen quite a few folks state that the commercials actually SAYS
"breastfeeding made their hair and breasts flat" but that simply is not the
case.

Want to watch the commercial for yourself? Here's how:

1. Go to www.suave.com
2. Click the "Beauty" icon in the upper-left corner (third from left, shaped
like a flower).
3. Place your pointer over "Mom's Transformations" and click "From Flat to
Fabulous."

Warmly,
Jennifer Laycock
