In my personal experience when I followed the "Atkins" diet, and in my
practice with 3 women that a drop in milk volumes occurred when they
followed this dieting plan. Usually once you go off the diet the milk
volume goes right back up again.  The women I counselled stopped the diet
within 1 week of starting it and their volumes returned to normal.
