Hello! I have been reading with interest the discussion about storage
containers.  Must fill you in.. had a client   collect almost freezer full of
milk, double bagging it in the playtex liner bags and then putting them in
ziploc freezer bags.  She reported the milk tasting sour and having a foul
odor at 3 mos storage.  She was under the impression her milk would be okay
for 4 mos.  When she called playtex, the customer service rep told her milk
is should be stored for no more than 2 weeks in these bags!
  This mom discarded all of the foul smelling milk and then asked me the
difference between the playtex bags and the csf bags made by medela.  As far
as I know, the plastic is the same, is it not??
  Well, she's stopped storing for now, and I've cautioned a few moms already
of this situation.  Have any of you had similiar reports??
