Well, I guess we can agree to disagree.  I don't believe I have seen much
"attack the man, not the argument" approach on Lactnet.  I feel that
lactnetters, as a rule, have scrupulously directed their frustrations at the
lack of knowledge, the poor arguments, not the person.

As far as who is in the powerful situation, I think you are seeing the world
through rose coloured glasses.  Perhaps, we have power because of statements
like the AAP's.  Perhaps we have power because deep down all HCP's must, at
least to some extent, believe that natural is better.  But all lactnetters
know that ultimately, when the neonatologist tells a mother she cannot
breastfeed, nothing I or anyone else can say will make a difference.
