Thank you, Laurie for your reply, and Sheila for your thoughts on it.

I too have considered thrush though her description of the pain is
not typical. I agree positioning could still well be an issue.

My main concern though was whether staph aureus in the breasts -
which is what her medical advisers are actively looking for - would
be a correct or helpful diagnosis.
