I was reading some stuff on Lactnet and came across this fact mentioned in a
letter by Laureen Lawlor-Smith from South Australia.  "Congenital Alactasia
or hypolactasia.  This is an extremely rare condition except in Scandinavian
countries.".

Does anybody think there is a correlation between milk consumption in
Northern European countries (like some of you mentioned in your letters) and
this rare condition?
