I tell women that Lansinoh can contribute to sore nipples if you use to
much.  My logic?  Well if your nipple is slippery from too much Lansinoh
then the latch can be changeable.  With a slippery nipple (isn't that a
drink?) the baby can slide down and end up nursing (gnawing) on the end of
the nipple.  This usually gets a mom's attention because she doesn't want
more problems with her nipples (which led to using Lansinoh in the first
place).  HTH

I've tried to encourage women to use lansinoh
sparingly, but so many seem to want to slather it on.
I've suggested that it is unnecessary, that it wastes
resources, that it's messy- some people just don't
care.  I'll try the moisture barrier tack next time,
but how can I explain *simply* just to use a little?

days- but I like it for cuts and other wounds!
