Lisa, check the ILCA website - the Connecticut River Valley is a
hotbed of good lactation help, from Tina Smillie (probably two hours
south of your friend near the ocean) to St Johnsbury VT and our first
VT baby-friendly hospital. (But they're about 3 hrs north of her!)
I'm an hour north of her in Brattleboro VT and Ellie Mitchell is in
Greenfield. There's likely to be others in the Northampton area as
well as Springfield MA!
