I'm glad to finally know the name of this condition! I recently had a
client diagnosed with this but she didn't know the full name and I had
never heard of it. I couldn't find it in any books. A search on Lactnet
(I was searching for Pupps--came up with about 15 posts on puppies). I
left a message at the Lactation Study Center, asking for information
about Pupps and they didn't return my call. Anyway, my client was sent to
a dermatologist who told her to stop breastfeeding because he was going
to put her on heavy duty meds- I think steroids. The client came for a
consult on Day 3 and by Day 5 she had stopped bf before talking to me -
"my doctor won't let me breastfeed is how she put it."
