From what I understand, breastmilk is generally OK.  It robs mom's body of
everything it needs to make adequate milk.  Tweaking the diet or upping
consumption of one food, element or another doesn't really affect the
composition of the milk.  (ie: increasing fat in diet doesn't make mom's
milk richer, etc).  What various sorts of nutrition does is make sure mom's
personal supplies are not depleted.  If mom's supplies are depleted then
mom had nutritional problems, but until mom is practically starving to
death, milk composition remains the same.  Severe restriction of calories
lessens total amount of milk produced.

In other words, you can't engineer milk composition as it comes from the
breast by using exotic diets or supplements.  We can engineer breast milk
content after it is out of the breast, which can be done for babies with
chylothorax or as Meier does for premies (measures creamatocrits and gives
higher cal breastmilk to baby).
