I disagree that it is good that a mother is not nursing if she cannot
follow instructions or read instructions.  On the contrary, women all
over the world who are completely illiterate manage to breastfeed very
well, because you don't have to read to breastfeed.  You don't have to
be smart to breastfeed.  You don't have to know how to count either.
You do need these things in order to use a pump.  You do need these
things in order to formula feed.
