Thanks to everyone who added their advice about the new mom who wanted
to know if it was safe to tan.  Even though we know exposure to UV rays
can lead to skin damage and cancer, it's hard to tell that to a 20 yr.
old.

The other thing I mentioned was that her doctor told her to wean at 6
mo. When I talked to her she said it was because she wanted to lose
weight.(even though I totally breastfed my 2 yr. old for 12 mos. I
couldn't lose any weight-I ended up going to J---- Cr--- and used their
bf diet and lost 20 lbs.)

Before she got pregnant she lost 37 lbs in one mo.  To me this sounds
dangerous and I told her I'd get some nutrition info. for her so maybe
she can alter her diet(not quite so drastically this time I hope) and
continue to Breastfeed.

We're originally from Effingham, IL.  Did anyone hear about the train
wreck there?  3 trains altogether right across the road from my brother
and sister-in-laws new house!  Everyone is ok from town although some
people did spend Christmas away from their homes.
