Hello,

I am an LLLL, IBCLC2B and a mother of two girls. I have nursed about
everywhere there is to nurse including the bus, subway and taxis. I have
nursed at many restaurants and in many parks. If the mother is uncomfortable
the major dept stores have large lounges, many hotels have cushy chairs,
B*****s & N**** have children's sections where many a baby is breastfed. The
G** on 5th Ave has a nursing lounge  - with a picture of a bottle on the door
:-( . In the East village most people breastfeed quite openly. I have never
had a nasty remark - mostly smiles. The Local LLL hotline number is listed in
the phone book for any support.
