I don't see it that way. This woman just delivered triplets -
probably by cesarian - and went home from the hospital a few
days later. It's not that she needs help to breastfeed,
she needs help to meet the needs of three newborns while
taking care of herself after abdominal surgery. What is
wrong with our society that we think a woman should be able to
do that herself? In most cultures of the world, new mothers
(even of singletons) are supported for a specific amount
of time, often around 40 days, around 6 weeks. In our
society, a new mother's friends ask her "Is your life
back to normal yet?" at 2-3 weeks post partum.
I would say, this woman needs as much help as her family and
community can muster. Once she is feeling better and figures
out how to organize herself (and the babies are just a bit older)
she'll be able to do more by herself. Families were never
meant to operate in isolation without helping one another
through the crunch times.
  Happy new year to all
