Hi All,

I read on "Medscape" that Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is not providing any dietary supplements for their patients.  The doctor interviewed gave the example St. John's Wort and the danger of its use in transplant patients.  He said that any patient who came to the hospital and brought their own supplements would have to sign a waiver.  Of course this begs the question of artificial baby milk.  Is this not considered a dietary supplement?  Is anyone from CHOP here who knows how they are dealing with this?
