How about if we all encourage the formula companies to put lots of $$ into
research to make formula equal to mother's milk. We could challenge them to
identify and manufacture EVERY ingredient that is in mother's milk. We could
even suggest following mothers around to see what they are exposed to on a
daily basis, and incorporate immune factors into the milk for each individual
baby (My biggest argument when people ask "isn't formula just as good as
mother's milk?") My hope with this plan is that it will make formula costs so
prohibitive that no one will be able to afford it!! Who is with me on this
one?
