I'll bet a lot of this effect is due to the tongue spreading the palate 
normally and increasing the nasal airspace, improving sleep breathing. 
And I'd also bet the bf kids with bedwetting have tongue ties or other 
issues that have prevented the palate and choanae from spreading properly.
