I am working with mom of a 6 month old. Baby has bitten a hole in the top of her areole on r side only with a sharp new tooth. He's had sinus, ear infection on his left side and teething for six weeks so I referred them toCST.  The wound is interesting: a small circle the size of a match head that's been open for a month, surrounded by thicker healed skin. Like its in a pit. 
I suggested nipple vacation.
I know silver would help it heal. She has tried silverettes without success possibly due to her nipple shape. Have any of you used colloidal silver or silver infused band aids on a wound on the nipple? What else would help her heal? She's using neosporin.
