Permission to post from parents who are expecting their first baby....

If the father has Celiac disease and the mother does not, is there any
benefit to the baby if the mother follows a gluten free diet while
breastfeeding?

From what I understand of this condition, it is not so much an allregy as
an immune response issue. In that instance who avoiding the mother
avoiding the foods have any impact on the nurslings final health outcome?

I searched the archives and the research and while I understand
breastfeeding is protective overall...I cant find the naswer to my
qeustion and though perhpas some of you have run across the same issue.
